Special Valves

Damper valves are used in different industries to shut or control process gas, air or liquids at lower pressure. Butterfly damper valves find excellent usage in chemical, petrochemical, Heat recovery, pollution control and water treatment applications.

Molten salt possesses high thermal conductivity, allowing temperatures to reach 600℃. Its high thermal capacity makes it one of the most commonly used substances for heat transfer fluids as well as thermal storage.

Ball check valves are often preferred for use in pumping stations that are rarely attended, since they demand only limited maintenance, typically if the ball valves make noise caused by insufficient pump capacity or water hammer. Ball check valves provide backflow checking inside a piping system.

A double seated juice valve is used to allow the flow of the syrup from one boiler body to the next. Its key operation is mainly is soft drinks industries, Breweries, Milk, juices, dressings and soups.

While specifying jacketed valves, users should specify the thermal requirements of the process along with the flange sizes and valve types to be used. Heating jackets are required where the process temperature must be maintained through the valve in order to keep the process media fluid.

In particular, where there is potential for media to be trapped within a closed valve the heating jacket can be vital in maintaining the process temperature and preventing the trapped product from solidifying. Typical industries which use jacketed valves are Sulphur recover, pharmaceutical, fertilizer products and chocolate production.

It is used in piping reactors and vessels to drain out abrasive, slurry, viscous material or semi- solid media.

Cage plug valve provides soft seat protection against erosion in throttling applications and in services with high pressure drop. The key to the cage design is that the PTFE sleeve in the valve is never directly exposed to the process flow.

Aluminum Bronze is the highest strength standard copper based alloy and is used where higher mechanical properties are required. ALBZ valves are suitable for many sea water applications, saline environments and especially in low pressure applications.

Rubber lined valves are lined internally so that the media does not come in contact with the metal. These valves are most suitable for corrosive/erosive applications. The rubber lined valves are cheaper alternative to other alloyed materials.
